Tetr College of Business Unveils cross-border Undergraduate Programme
Tetr College of Business has introduced a new management program where students are sent to seven different countries to establish businesses as part of their studies. A renowned college in India, led by Indian professionals, has introduced an innovative management program that extends beyond conventional education by having students travel to seven different countries to establish businesses as a component of the curriculum.
Established by Pratham Mittal, Tetr College of Business introduced a four-year Bachelor's program in Management and Technology with an inaugural class of approximately 120 students, consisting of an equal split between students from developed and developing nations.
Students from various countries will gain business knowledge by creating businesses in the USA, Italy, India, Singapore, Brazil, UAE, and Ghana. After completing their undergraduate program, Tetr students will be able to receive degrees from Middlesex University, a British institution.
Tetr's initial group of students started on Monday, and they will be utilizing the University of Europe campus until December for the first term to develop their e-commerce business. In January of the following semester, they will travel to India and study at the IIT campus.
Mittal, who graduated from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, explained that the new curriculum focuses on four main principles -- values, exposure, experiences, and skills, with students spending four to five months in each country.
"We have to give a real-world target to our students. If they are able to do that, the motivation comes within. We want to provide first hands-on experience to run business,” Mittal told PTI.
