IIT Kanpur Develops Online Platform for Competitive Exams Assessment
The Ministry of Education and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur have collaborated to introduce SATHEE (Self-Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams), an online educational platform aimed at assisting students nationwide in preparing for competitive exams. The official press release stated that this initiative represents a major achievement in the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 and the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal 4.
SATHEE offers a complete set of resources for NEET and JEE aspirants, including video lectures from esteemed faculties of IITs and IISc, according to the institute. The platform has started a 45-day JEE crash course, which is specially designed to offer intense preparation and revision in a short amount of time. This is perfect for students who want to strengthen their knowledge before exams.
Additionally, the platform will offer a range of in-depth learning modules created by experts and will include unique features such as an interactive chatbot. The platform also includes regular doubt-clearing sessions conducted by students from IITs and AIIMS. In addition, it provides content in English, Hindi, and multiple Indian regional languages to make sure every student can access the resources regardless of language differences.
“The outreach of SATHEE marks a significant step towards enhancing accessibility to education in India. This platform opens up new avenues for students preparing for competitive exams, offering quality resources and support. Our goal is to ensure that every student, irrespective of their location or financial situation, has the opportunity to excel in their academic pursuits. SATHEE is a testament to our commitment to educational equity and excellence,” said Prof S Ganesh, Officiating Director, IIT Kanpur.
