Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar Inaugurates Special Needs School

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar Inaugurates Special Needs SchoolVice President Jagdeep Dhankhar called for all possible efforts to ensure a dignified life for children with special needs so that they can achieve a sense of belonging and inclusion. He made the comments while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Higashi Autism School in New Delhi today. The VP also called on citizens to act for a future where the world is safe and meaningful for special children.

He stated that the mother takes all the responsibility to ensure the offspring of children who need special support. She encouraged the male to work "shoulder to shoulder with his wife in missionary work" when a child faces the challenge of autism and needs support.

He emphasized the importance of not leaving your partner and partner to face challenges alone, saying that abandoning them during these difficult times "loses your right to be a member of the human race." Emphasizing that a "one size fits all" approach does not work when a child is faced with autism, Dhankhar emphasized that every child is unique and has special needs. He emphasized the need to expose our children to the wider world, regardless of the challenges they face in their personalities.

He appreciated Higashi Autism School's curriculum and decision to incorporate an integrated approach to yoga therapy (IAYT) and daily life therapy. He called such approaches effective tools to empower special children to "become productive and contributing members of society, bringing pride to families who were there in the grip of despair and fatigue."

Noting that this is the third Higashi-Autism School in the world after Tokyo and Boston, the vice-president recalled that this is "an appropriate opportunity for all of us to decide together to create an environment where every autistic child is celebrated". He also thanked the principal of the school, Rashmi Das, for her unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of autistic children.
