MCD Introduces QR Codes to Simplify School Admissions
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has introduced a QR code to help with school admissions. QR codes have also been placed on the main gates of all MCD schools. Parents can scan the QR code and fill out the online admission form to get their children into the schools of their choice.
This new initiative will help to streamline the admissions process and make it more convenient for parents.
The education department has introduced new assessment tools that focus on students' needs, interests, and core subject areas as part of its efforts to improve students' foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) skills. A phased schedule for conducting baseline assessments, classes, and evaluations has been developed.
Furthermore, the education department has launched Mission Buniyaad to support FLN skills and achieve NIPUN Bhaarat's goal. The initiative aims to provide basic quality education to all children enrolled in MCD schools, ensuring that they grow into self-sufficient and capable individuals.
In addition, a survey will be conducted in the third and fourth weeks of April to increase enrollment in MCD schools. The survey also aims to increase the number of special needs children who can receive quality education in MCD schools.
MCD's education department is dedicated to providing a high-quality education for all students and ensuring that every child receives an education that will help them achieve their goals and dreams.
