However, setting up an international standard beauty school in Pune was not an easy task for Bhakti. "Few years back, people were not really aware about the career opportunities available for the people who are passionate about the beauty industry. As a result, we had only few takers for our courses. Today, the situation is different. Gone are the days when just one beautician from neighborhood would come to spruce up for every occasion from haircuts to facial and body art, everything was under the ambit of this jack-of-all-trade beautician. The academy established in 2010 with three teachers is now a huge learning space wherein the number of teachers raised to 32 along with the expansion of the area configuring effective learning.
"We have introduced the brand teaching methods to meet the needs of rapidly growing beauty and wellness industry. From the flagship course, which is PG Diploma in Cosmetology, to the other integrated long term and short-term courses,we maintain international standards,"claims Bhakti. The institute currently has more than 42 beauty courses and customizes them based on the trends and industry needs.
