SWAYAM Plus has collaborated with IIT Madras in order to launch a new initiative. This includes the training of engineering students with mechanical, and manufacturing backgrounds & industry-ready technical skills.  This training program will be from 14^TH of October to 26^th. While this program will render hands-on training with a fee of Rs 6000 plus GST, accommodation will be provided at the IIT Madras campus at Rs 650/day per student. This comprises food and stay. The accommodation requests can be done on or before the 10^th of October.

The course renders a practical approach for bridging the gap between real-world production processes & engineering theoretical concepts. Skills which include Quick engineering drawings, simple quantification, use of the right tools, back-of-the-envelope, classification/taxonomy fundamentals and systems approach for planning & execution will be introduced.

Also, for students who excel in the programme, placement assistance will be rendered. Students for the training programme will be chosen to impart industry-ready skills by Pravartak and the training program will be held at IIT Madras campus. The course content comprises practice in 3D printing, CNC Programing & CNC machining, and 3D modeling. Furthermore, it also renders knowledge on the phases of product development, testing & prototyping.
