The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has launched a new data analytics program in collaboration with the ed-tech platform Learnbay. This initiative is facilitated through a partnership with the E&ICT Academy at IIT Guwahati, aiming to offer two distinct programs: the Executive Programme in Data Science and AI, and the Advanced Data Analytics Programme.

According to IIT Guwahati, these programs are structured to equip professionals and aspiring data scientists with advanced skills and knowledge essential for the industry. The curriculum will be delivered by field experts from both IIT Guwahati and Learnbay, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

The Executive Programme in Data Science and AI spans 400 hours and includes a rigorous curriculum supplemented by a two-day campus immersion program and guest lectures by IIT Guwahati faculty. It aims to provide deep insights into data science and artificial intelligence, preparing participants to tackle complex industry challenges.

The Advanced Data Analytics Programme, comprising 200 hours, focuses on delivering practical knowledge and hands-on experience in data analytics. Participants will engage with real-world case studies and projects, enhancing their ability to apply analytical techniques effectively.

Krishna Kumar, CEO of Learnbay, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, highlighting its role in integrating academic rigor with practical industry insights. The joint certification offered upon completion of these programs signifies a milestone achievement, reflecting the high standards of education and training imparted by IIT Guwahati and Learnbay.
