IIT Bombay secures a ₹130 crore commitment from the Motilal Oswal Foundation

Motilal Oswal Foundation and IIT Bombay collaborated to create the Motilal Oswal Knowledge Center, which will be located on the school's campus. The Motilal Oswal Foundation has committed a considerable INR 130 crore to support the building of academic infrastructure and the development of a financial markets program at IIT Bombay as part of this collaboration.

The MoU states that a ~1 lakh–1.2 lakh sq. ft. Motilal Oswal Knowledge Centre will be established on the campus of IIT Bombay. This academic building will act as a center for cutting-edge research facilities, labs, and collaborative areas. The Motilal Oswal Centre for Capital Markets (MOCM) at IIT Bombay will leverage domain knowledge from disciplines including mathematics, computer science, artificial intelligence, finance, economics, management, and operations research.

MOCM intends to provide graduate, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses in financial markets. Additionally, the center hopes to provide flexible online postgraduate diplomas that are available to professionals all around the world. cited the news release.
