Volvo Takes Initiative to Offer M.Tech Program in Automobile Engineering
Volvo Group India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) to revolutionize automotive education in India. This collaboration aims to introduce a specialized credit course within VIT's MTech program, focusing on imparting cutting-edge automotive technologies and industry insights to students.
Through this partnership, Volvo Group will provide students with exposure to the latest advancements in automotive technologies, aligning with the company's commitment to achieving a Net Zero future by 2040. The curriculum of the course will cover various topics, including emerging technologies, propulsion systems, industry trends, and best practices.
Kamal Bali, President and Managing Director of Volvo Group India, highlighted the transformative nature of this collaboration, emphasizing the industry's increasing focus on sustainable and efficient automotive solutions.
