University of Leeds Launches International Excellence Scholarship for 2025

International Excellence Scholarship 2025, in collaboration with University of Leeds targeted the international undergraduate and postgrad students who excelled in various disciplines. As a result, this opportunity could be pretty appealing in providing finance, since the scholarship offered money for 500 scholarships up to 50 percent of tuition fee. The merit-based scholarship celebrates the exceptional academic achievement and is also available for those students coming from around the world, including India.

There needs to be academic excellence, evidence of leadership capabilities, and willingness to engage themselves with the students coming from diversified backgrounds for attending this prestigious University of Leeds that features in the top 100 universities in the world.

There is no requirement to have a confirmed offer of admission before submitting an application for the scholarship. Additionally, applicants should either be self-funded or partially funded and must have a good academic background, an expected or earned bachelor's degree at least equivalent to a 2:1 (Hons).

Application outcomes will be notified on 13 June 2025. Students awarded scholarships will be asked to confirm the award in a specified period identified in the letter. The scholarships are offered as 10 percent, 25 percent, and 50 percent reductions of the tuition fee and are awarded 500 in number.

Only international students applying to study a master’s degree with University of Leeds for 2025-2026 will be considered for the International Excellence Scholarship. The University does also recruit on the basis of extracurricular achievements and work experience, as this is evidence of high interpersonal and professional competence. The application deadline was Friday, 16 May 2025 by 5 p.m.
