Three IIMs Secure a Spot in QS Global MBA Rankings 2025
Three Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)—IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, and IIM Calcutta—along with the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, have ranked among the world’s top 100 MBA programs, according to the QS Global MBA Rankings 2025 released on Wednesday. These institutions have also made it to the top 50 for employability, highlighting their strong reputation for producing job-ready graduates.
The QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings 2025 span 58 countries, evaluating 340 of the best global MBA programs and a variety of specialized master’s degrees in fields such as Management, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain Management. Fourteen Indian full-time MBA programs have secured a place on the list, including three new entries, further reflecting India’s growing presence on the global business education stage.
Stanford School of Business in the US retained the top spot for the fifth consecutive year. According to QS CEO Jessica Turner, these rankings provide independent insights that help career-driven students make informed choices when navigating the global business education landscape. The performance of the Indian IIMs, particularly in employability and alumni impact, demonstrates that Indian institutions are effectively preparing graduates to excel in today’s complex business environments.
Turner also emphasized that these rankings serve as a comparative tool for students aspiring to lead in corporations, innovate in start-ups, or impact the public sector, guiding them as they plan their professional journeys.
