Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences launches specialised undergraduate program

One of India's top institutions, Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences (SSSS), has introduced its specialised undergraduate curriculum, the B.Sc (Sport & Exercise Science). The three-year undergraduate curriculum perfectly balances theoretical and practical learning by combining research- and application-based instruction. The programme would create the groundwork for a greater comprehension and application of the science underlying physical activity, exercise, and athletic performance.

There are 60 seats in each B. Sc. (Sport and Exercise Science) batch. Students may apply for the undergraduate programme after passing the standard XII (10+2) or an equivalent exam from an accredited board. To participate in the admissions process, candidates must have received a minimum of 50% or an equal score (45 percent SC/ST). Students who have competed in sports at the international, national, state, or district levels in competitions sanctioned by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) are also qualified for the programme.

On the website "www.ssss.edu.in," applicants can register for the admissions process by submitting a registration form. After submitting their applications, candidates can pay the registration cost of Rs. 750 by demand draught or online payment methods before August 10, 2022.

On August 11, 2022, those who have been shortlisted will be called to take a Field Test and a PIWAT (Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test). The Field Test and PIWAT will be given online as part of the application procedure. The candidate will be given the Google form link, and according to the rules of the Field Exam, they must upload a recorded video or screenshot of the test on the link. Zoom will be used to perform the PIWAT virtually. The first accomplishment will be shown on "www.ssss.edu.in."
