Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh Govt Announce Launch of MBBS Course in Hindi
Rajasthan has announced the introduction of the MBBS programme in both Hindi and English. The Rajasthan state government made the statement on September 14 to commemorate Hindi Diwas. Along with Rajasthan, the Chhattisgarh state government has announced the implementation of an MBBS course in Hindi in the state.
Rajasthan will gradually implement the Hindi language. According to rumors, the new course would be introduced in the 2024-25 academic year by two medical institutions in the state that are associated with Marwar Medical University. Students will also be given the option of choosing their favorite language for MBBS education.
Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, has stated that the MBBS course will be offered in Hindi beginning this academic year. The CM stated that the government has chosen to commemorate Hindi Diwas by introducing MBBS courses in Hindi. The books in Hindi will be introduced during the first year of the session. He also stated that the state health department has been instructed to arrange books and study materials for the event.
Previously, states such as Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh provided medical education in Hindi. The decision was made in line with the aim of offering education in Hindi. Madhya Pradesh was the first state to provide an MBBS education in Hindi.
