JNU to Accept Application for MBA, MPhil and Ph.D. under JRF till September 21

The coronavirus has compelled the education sector to come into a halt, canceling the classes and examinations for the safety of young students and faculties. Amidst the lockdown period, all the Universities and colleges have postponed their exams until the situation normalizes and students feel safe to resume their learning pace. As the situation is expected to gradually come into control, the central govt. has issued unlock 4.0 guidelines uplifting many restrictions that were implemented before. As a result of which many educational institutes and national examination boards have issued online notices for the conduction of exams.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University has recently declared the deadline for the final submission of the applications for JNU on Tuesday to accept admission forms for MBA, MPhil and Ph.D. courses under the category of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) till Sept 21, 2020. The issued notice further revealed that the online submission of application form for the MBA program would be up to 11:50 pm, September 21 while the amendment of particulars of online forms on the website would be valid till 23rd to 25th September.

As per a recent notice issued by JNU, “JNU announces the application of registration for admissions to the MBA, MPhil & Ph.D. programs for the academic year 220-2012 under JRF Category and the Diploma of Proficiency. The last day for application the submission of application is September 21, 2020.”

It is assumed tentatively that the list of candidates eligible for group discussions and personal interviews will be issued on 9th October while the students can be summoned for group discussions and interviews from 12th October to 22nd October. The first merit list of students for admissions into different programs is supposed to be issued by 29th October.

Apart from this JNU has reportedly extended the date of registration for the monsoon semester till 4th September. As per the guidelines of unlocking 4.0 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the JNU will remain closed throughout September.
