Jamia Millia Islamia Announces New Courses in B.Tech and M.Tech
Jamia Millia Islamia announced the opening of a number of cutting-edge, self-financed BTech and MTech programmes. The JEE Main final candidate ranking will determine admission to all BTech programmes. The BTech in Electrical and Computer Engineering, the MTech in Data Sciences, the BTech in Electronics (VLSI design and technology), and the BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Sciences) are some of the new courses.
The annual cost of these self-financed programmes is Rs 1,50,000 for B Tech students and Rs 54,000 for MTech students. On Jamia Millia Islamia's official website, application forms are accessible. Ten days following the announcement of the results by the relevant agencies, the online admission forms for the courses where the JEE test will be administered will be accessible.
Main objective of BTech Electrical and Computer Engineering is to create qualified engineers who can improve the security and strength of computing systems, primarily in communications networks, and enhance the efficacy of cyber-physical systems like smart grid, autonomous mobile systems, industrial control systems etc.
Similarly, BTech in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology) is designed and developed in a way to train students in this strategic domain and prepare them to accept the challenge of designing and manufacturing novel nanoelectronics devices and chips on Indian soil. The curriculum will be based on the requirements of the IC and chip design industries and will be on par with institutes of repute in India and abroad.
Students pursuing a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Sciences) will have access to an extensive curriculum that covers important subjects like machine learning, statistical analysis, database systems, programming languages, and algorithms.
A postgraduate programme called MTech Data Sciences focuses on advanced studies in data sciences. To extract knowledge and insights from data, the programme blends domain-specific knowledge, computer science, and statistics.
