In the recent QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, IIT Kanpur, an Indian Institute of Technology, has outshone in many academic disciplines, registering its rank as one of the leading institutions in the Indian higher education. The first accomplishment IIT Kanpur is the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence category which they debuted in and got a global rank of 36th with the position of 2nd in India.

Furthermore, the technical education and engineering excellence of IIT Kanpur has been maintained in terms of the national ranking of 5th and QS world ranking of 93. A significant progress in Mathematics is witnessed which enables the institute to take the 2nd position in India and the 106th globally.
