IIT Jodhpur Outlays Criteria for Ph.D Programs

The Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, is seeking PhD candidates for January 2024. Applications will be accepted until October 20th by the Institute. Applicants should apply online at oa.iitj.ac.in/PG_ADMISSION/.

IIT Jodhpur's PhD programmes are all based on written exams and/or interviews. PhD programmes in specific disciplines and interdisciplinary programmes are currently accepting applications.

Regular with Institute Assistantship, Individual Fellowship (i.e. CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/INSPIRE, etc.) PhD Programmes are available. Sponsored, Part-time, Part-time (Online), Indian Nationals Residing Abroad (INRA), and foreign nationals.

A master's degree in engineering, pharmacy, agricultural science, science, humanities, social sciences, or management with at least 60% marks or a 6.0/10 CPI or CGPA for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC (55%) is required.

BTech graduates with a CGPA of 8.0 or higher from centrally funded technical institutions (CFTI) are eligible to apply to all PhD courses at IIT Jodhpur without taking the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE). Students with a CGPA less than 8.0, on the other hand, must take the GATE in order to be considered.
