IIM Bangalore Unveils Online UG Course on Entrepreneurship

The Indian Organization of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) introduced an online undergraduate program in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship. The last date to apply for this program in IIM Bangalore is June 15.

The three-year Bachelor of Business Administration in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship (BBA DBE) program coordinates advanced innovation, business management, and business venture to prepare pioneers for the computerized business world.

The curriculum, which focuses on digital strategies and entrepreneurial practices, includes live sessions, mentorship, and hands-on projects for practical experience. The educational institution intends to start the course with around 1000 students. The program comprises around 60 courses, which will be overseen by over 50 faculty members.

This program intends to set out equivalent open doors for prospective students from all foundations and locales, permitting them to proceed with their current activities without moving or disturb their lives. To build a community and encourage professional development in a dynamic setting, this first-of-its-kind program combines digital and in-person interactions. While the course is generally computerized, the students anyway are supposed to show up for a delegated assessment in their particular assessment communities.

Prof Rishikesha T Krishnan, director of IIM Bangalore said that programme is set to begin from September 2024. “The online undergraduate programme will help students gain the expertise to develop and implement strategies for businesses in the digital age, gain knowledge about the latest digital technologies, identify business opportunities and make strategic decisions that drive business growth. Our programme focuses on practical learning, enabling students to tackle real-world business challenges and develop innovative solutions,” said Krishnan.
