IIM Ahmedabad Leads India in QS 2025 MBA & Master’s Rankings
On February 12, three Indian master's and MBA programmes were included in the QS International Trade rankings for 2025. IIM Ahmedabad became the first Indian institution on the list going up from 65 in 2024 to 42nd this season. Other Indian institutes to appear in the list are Manav Rachna International University, at rank 55, and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), dropping from 60th to the 63rd position. In the meantime, the SP Jain School of Global Management, Australia has been assigned the 68th rank.
The QS International Trade Rankings 2025 developed in partnership with the Hinrich Foundation, evaluates global trade-focused master's and MBA programmes. The rankings have included two tables this year, contrasting the Executive MBA programmes with the Master's and MBA programmes for a more precise comparison.
The top three spots in the rankings remain dominated by the United States and the United Kingdom. First, Thunderbird School of Global Management of Arizona State University, followed by the Oxford University of the UK, and IMD MBA of Lausanne, Switzerland.
Of all the Asian institutions, the highest-ranked is Tsinghua University of China, at 10th place. India stands in third place in representation among Asian institutions on the top list with three, after China and Hong Kong SAR, which have four each.
