IIIT Vadodara Partners with TeamLease EdTech to launch Online BSc Programs

Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT Vadodara) has joined hands with TeamLease EdTech to launch three online undergraduate programs in science, BSc in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The programs are designed specifically with the objective to provide learners with industry-relevant skills that are going to give them an upsurge to their career potentials in India's rapidly growing technological industry and further align with the government's goal of developing India into a hub for global skilled workforce.

World Economic Forum in its Future of Jobs Report 2023 has listed these amongst the fastest growing jobs in the world. There are data analysts and AI specialists.

NASSCOM also quotes the fact that by 2026, country's technology sectors are going to create more than 1.5 million job opportunities in engineering software, analytics, and artificial intelligence, as fast as rocketing up to the sky in ascending order.

A BSc in Computer Science gives proper training in programming and system design focusing on machine learning and big data in the case of a BSc in Data Science and Analytics. The BSc in AI and Machine Learning allows students to shape themselves into pursuing AI research and development and all programs are charged with Rs 2,53,600 in total.

Online access through live delivery of all programs will be extended to learners through all parts of India. Courses are designed considering industry inputs while including real world case studies for hands-on use of relevant tools.

“These new online B.Sc. programs will empower students with current and future-ready skills and open doors to high-growth career opportunities in India’s digital economy”, said Director of IIIT Vadodara, Prof.  Dharmendra Singh.

TeamLease EdTech, Founder and CEO, Shantanu Rooj, added, “With the rapid transformation of the IT sector, our goal is to equip students with cutting-edge skills that will make them workforce-ready from day one.
