A new curriculum called the MA in Journalism and Mass Communication in two Indian languages has been introduced by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Candidates who are interested can go to ignou.ac.in, the official IGNOU website.
The official website will soon have information on the program available. The MAJMC program will soon be available in Hindi and Tamil in addition to its current English language offerings in online, open, and distance learning (ODL) formats.
In order to include the suggestions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS) has created the curriculum. It is being launched with the intention of making teaching and learning in diverse Indian languages easier.
IGNOU officials anticipate that the university would repeat this across disciplines and in other Indian languages. Experts anticipate that learning in the candidate's mother tongue will improve comprehension and learning.
