Gautam Buddha Univ Introduces 10-day research methodology course
The Gautam Buddha University initiated its 10-day research methodology program on December 3, 2024. The program, running until December 13, 2024, is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) based in New Delhi. The opening ceremony was graced by numerous dignitaries, such as Prof. R.K. Sinha (Vice Chancellor of GBU), Prof. D.K. Madaan (Punjabi University, Patiala), Prof. N.P. Melkania (Dean Academics), Dr. Indu Uprety (Dean, SoM), Prof. Shweta Anand (Course Director), and Dr. Varsha Dixit (Course Co-Director).
The course intends to emphasize the incorporation of AI in research, as stated in a press release from the university. Speaking to the assembly, Prof. Shweta Anand, Course Director, mentioned that the research methodology course presents an invaluable chance for researchers to enhance their research skills and expand their knowledge of advanced methodologies.
“We are thrilled to bring together experts from across India to share their knowledge and expertise,” she added.
Prof. R.K. Sinha, Vice Chancellor of Gautam Buddha University, said that the program underscores GBU's commitment to academic excellence and research.

Similarly, Prof. D.K. Madaan emphasized GDP's importance in the Indian economy, the necessity of sustainable development, and the significance of research in shaping policies. The program is taking place at Gautam Buddha University’s contemporary campus in Greater Noida, which features cutting-edge amenities for education and engagement.
