Delhi Univ Releases Schedule for UG courses Admission Rounds
The Delhi University released the schedule for future rounds of placements in its undergraduate programs under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The university reported that 75,083 students secured admissions in Round II, with 29,344 choosing to upgrade and 41,885 deciding to retain their seats.
The candidates chosen in Round II had until 11.59 pm on Friday (August 30) to pay their admission fees in order to qualify for a chance to upgrade in the following round.
The university announced that candidates accepted in Rounds I and II have the option to upgrade to higher preferences through the Upgrade Window. The applicants are able to change the order of their preferred programme-college combinations using the window, which were ranked higher than the previously assigned one.
The window will be available from 5 pm on Saturday until 4.59 pm on Sunday, when the updated allocations will be announced on Tuesday. Candidates must confirm the seat by 4.59 pm on Wednesday, September 4th.
The educatinal institutions official schedule includes a provision known as Mid-Entry, which permits candidates who did not apply during Phases I and II for CSAS to reapply, among other options. The Mid-Entry window is available starting at 5 pm on September 7 until 4.59 pm on September 9.
The outcomes of the third round of allocations will be announced at 5 pm on September 11, according to the submissions. The applicants will be given until 4.59 pm on September 13 to 'confirm' the assigned seat.
