CUSAT Begins Registration for CUSAT CAT 2025: Apply by March 10
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) started the registration for the CUSAT Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT) 2025 for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs on February 6. The last date for submitting exam applications is March 10.
To enroll in the BTech programs, candidates need to have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For Kerala's SEBC candidates, a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks is necessary, along with at least 50 percent in Mathematics. Other applicants must have obtained a minimum of 60 percent in total marks along with 60 percent in Mathematics. The maximum age limit for applicants is 25 years.
The application fee for CUSAT CAT 2025 is Rs 1500 for candidates registering for a maximum of two test codes. For applicants from the Kerala SC (KSC) and Kerala ST (KST), the fee amounts to Rs 700 for up to two test codes. If candidates want to apply for more test codes, the charge will be Rs 500 for general applicants and Rs 250 for KSC/KST applicants for every extra code.
For applicants to various M.Tech and MBA programs, there is no extra test fee since these programs do not necessitate the CAT.
For those applying via CUET (only for PG programs), the CAT registration fee will be charged accordingly. Payments can be processed through Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, or Net Banking from nearly all banks.
Steps to apply for CUSAT CAT 2025
– Visit the official CUSAT website at admissions.cusat.ac.in
– Click on the “CUSAT CAT 2025” link available on the homepage.
A new page will appear where candidates need to complete the registration process.
– After registration, log in to the account.
– Fill out the application form and proceed with the payment of the application fee.
– Click on “Submit” and download the confirmation page.
