CUET UG 2022: admit card released
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET UG 2022 admit card today, on the official website for CUET- cuet.samarth.ac.in.
NTA will be conducting CUET UG 2022 from July 15 to August 20. More than 9.5 lakh candidates have registered for the exam. The CUET Phase 1 exams will begin from July 15 and the admit cards for the same are out now. The Phase 2 admit cards will be released by July 31 and the exams will go on from August 4 to 20.
“As of now 9,50,804 candidates have registered for admission into 86 universities out of which there are 43 central universities, 13 state universities, 12 deemed universities and 18 private universities,” states the official notification.
“The candidates can take the test in any of the 13 mediums being offered, select any combination out of 33 languages and 27 unique subjects. One candidate has applied in more than 5 universities, on an average, and there are more than 54,000 unique combination of subjects chosen by various candidates,” it adds.
CUET will be held for the first time this year and it is an all-India entrance exam for admission to different programmes in central universities and institutes across India.
The CUET syllabus will be at the NCERT Class 12 level and the exam will be held in 13 languages -- Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia and English.
Apart from central universities, CUET scores can be adopted by state/private/deemed-to-be universities as well.
