The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has launched its mobile app Namaste BHU. Through this, they plan to strengthen digital connections within the university and make it easier for students and faculty to access services and information, enhancing the overall campus experience.

The app is available to download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The users can create an account on the app using their registered mobile number with the educational university and start using it. 

Services include information on faculties, departments, and programmes offered, directory of the university with names, designations, emails, and phone numbers of key officials, teachers, and staff. Additionally, the application will allow the users to search among the books, journals, and various of e-resources to look for their desired one and save time and effort, claimed the press release.

Students are also given the option to register their grievances regarding the admissions, fees, exam, and other issues and will be provided with the process of resolving. The hostel wardens will also be able to raise complaints regarding the hostels through the application.
