Bangalore University and CII to launch industry-focused courses
Bangalore University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to introduce a new joint certification program to prepare the students to become industry ready. This partnership focuses on bridging the gap between academic knowledge of a student and the skill required in the industry. The courses will focus on various disciplines, finance, account, governance, statutory compliances, and human resources being the key courses designed to provide practical knowledge that are directly applicable at the workplace. M/s First Place, Bangalore-based educational firm, has been appointed as the official learning partner for this initiative.
The signing ceremony, held at Bangalore University, and was graced by renowned leaders including Prof. Dr. Jayakar, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Bangalore University, Sri CS Sheik Latheef, Hon'ble Registrar of the university, and Sri Sougata Roy Choudhary, Executive Director of CII, along with other dignitaries. The presence and support of these dignitaries made the event huge success signifying their importance. This collaboration signifies a landmark shift education can be designed to meet the requirements of the industry. And can arm students of the new generation with the skills that help them to prosper in today’s competitive job market and make them successful professionals.
