The Central University of Kashmir has implemented a number of measures, including fee waivers for deserving and needy students, in order to increase admissions to the university. Professor A. Ravinder Nath, the university's Vice Chancellor, made the announcement.

Nath also assured that the varsity is ensuring that the curriculum is being designed in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The vice chancellor said the university will sign MoUs with the industries in other parts of the country to enable the students to undertake internship.
Nath stated that the university will implement a credit-based system in which students can transfer credits from other partner universities to gain international experience.
