University of Leeds Announces International Masters Regional Scholarships

The University of Leeds has launched the International Masters Regional Scholarships 2025 to assist gifted postgraduate students by lowering their education expenses. The program is intended to enhance the university's connection with India and other nations by providing a £6,000 fee waiver for students joining taught Master's courses in 2025.

The scholarship is available to students from India, Germany, France, Egypt, South Korea, Peru, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Spain, the USA, the UAE, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Applicants who are eligible should be international fee-paying students and should be self-funded or part-funded. They should also have a conditional or unconditional offer for a 2025 Master's program at the University of Leeds.

But MBA programme and online courses are not eligible under this scholarship. Also, the scholarship can be taken in conjunction with other sources of funding, as long as the combined funding does not exceed 100 percent of the tuition fee. The award is non-deferrable to subsequent intakes.

In contrast to other scholarships, students do not have to apply individually. Qualified applicants will receive an email notification automatically and need to indicate their interest through the link sent. The fee reduction will be implemented in the second semester, but recipients need to be enrolled at the university by January 30, 2026.

This merit scholarship provides considerable financial ease, and therefore, the meritorious students are able to concentrate on their studies without any tuition fee burden.
