Scholarships for Indian Students announces University of Southampton Delhi

The University of Southampton in Delhi has launched two scholarship programs aimed at assisting outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in India. The Delhi Presidential Scholarship and the Future Talent Scholarship seek to offer financial support to deserving candidates applying for the August 2025 intake.

Process of Application

Students intending to apply for admission in August 2025 may submit their scholarship applications after the process starts in February 2025. Candidates who are interested should visit the university's official website for information on updates and application procedures.

Future Talent Grant

This scholarship provides a tuition discount of ?2,20,000 for the initial year and is open to a maximum of 12 undergraduate and graduate students within the university's six programs. Selection will depend on academic achievement and a compelling scholarship application. Candidates selected for the shortlist will be revealed in two stages - June and July 2025.

Delhi Presidential Scholarship

This completely funded scholarship will be given to one undergraduate and one graduate student, paying for the full tuition fee throughout their program. Candidates need to exhibit ongoing academic achievement and resonate with the university's fundamental values to be eligible. The graduate scholarship recipient will be revealed in June 2025, whereas the undergraduate recipient will be disclosed in July 2025.

Extra Financial Assistance: Future Talent Grant

Along with the scholarships, the university has launched the Future Talent Bursary, offering financial support of up to Rs 6,60,000 for one year to undergraduate students who excel academically but face financial hardships. The criteria for eligibility and application information for this bursary, as well as for other scholarship programs, will be accessible by the final week of February 2025.
