An early acceptance scholarship worth AUD 10,000 per year was announced by Macquarie University, Australia. It is a reward for outstanding Indian and South Asian students. From 2023 onwards there will be eligible students for this grant who will pursue studies at Macquarie University. For the scholarship, the student must be a full time-international student who should pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree on campus (or online while being affected by Covid border regulations). Students must be from South Asian countries which include India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Candidates are required to accept the offer letter from Macquarie University and should pay the commencement fee by the acceptance for availing of the scholarship.  

The scholarship grant for Indian and South Asian students will be disbursed as AUD 10,000 annual scholarship towards tuition fees which include all coursework degree programs. The student enrolling in a four-year undergraduate degree would be receiving AUD 40,000 over four years off their total tuition fees. Macquarie University will be accepting applications all year round and candidates who successfully apply for any undergraduate or postgraduate degree will get an automatic assessment for this early acceptance scholarship.
