IE Business School ranks 12th in Executive MBA Financial Times Global Ranking; occupies Top position of 'Professional Experience' category

The annual Executive MBA ranking from the Financial Times has placed IE Business School’s Global Executive MBA program in the 12th position worldwide. The 15-month EMBA program provides participants with the opportunity to gain a global understanding of different cultures, team dynamics, and business practices. It is focused specifically on business innovation, global business, and global leadership to help executives not only navigate the C-suite but also the challenges of globalization and digital transformation.

Within this year’s ranking, IE Business School holds the top position in the work experience category, which is based on the pre-EMBA career profile of graduates and includes information on seniority and international experience. Additionally, the School ranked second for having corporate social responsibility as part of its core curriculum and seventh for international course experience.

“IE’s Global Executive MBA is aimed at senior executives with global responsibility. It is an honor to occupy the top position of the ‘professional experience’ category in this year’s global Financial Times EMBA ranking, as well as 2nd position in the CSR curriculum category,” said Ignacio Gafo, Associate Dean of Global & Executive MBA Programs at IE Business School. “The Global Executive MBA uses the Liquid Learning model that we have developed at IE University to transform the learning experience with face-to-face, hybrid, and online training.”

“IE Business School’s Global EMBA program provides training to manage changing global environments and focuses on developing skills to define strategies, innovate, and lead diverse teams,” Gafo concluded.

The ranking evaluated Executive MBA program quality on factors including salaries and increase in pay three years after graduation, participant satisfaction, the program’s international projection, and faculty and student diversity, among others.

IE Business School has a broad portfolio of Executive MBA programs in classroom and blended format, including the IE Brown EMBA, which is a joint Executive MBA with US-based Brown University that integrates innovative management skills with the human sciences and practical business studies.
