People having technical skills get jobs easily, this is not a myth. Though the rising cost of studying engineering has made it difficult for most of the youth population to learn and acquire technical skills. But on a positive note, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) are making a difference in the lives of many aspirants who want to pursue technical education. ITIs first started in India in 1969 with a vision of uplifting the process of industrialization. And today, in order to increase awareness and make youth employable Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET) - Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship have laid down guidelines in favor of ITI education. Following the norms set by the governing body Agashe Central I.T.I, Raipur, Chhattisgarh has been delivering beneficial training in technical fields since 1993. It is an ISO 9001:2000 and 29990:2010 certified institute following National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) norms.

For augmenting industrial education, Agashe Central I.T.I has many schemes like NCVT Apparel and Goal which they conduct on a regular basis. Students after completing 10th standard are eligible to join the programs and learn industrial technicality. They are qualified to receive training in basic skills for the jobs of operators or craftsman. The vocational training institute also has training modules in electronics that prepare the students to work and solve problems related to home appliances, mobile phones and many more. By supplying books and resources to students, Agashe Central I.T.I keeps the spirit of learning to the brim. This environment helps the students to evolve as efficient professionals. In addition, the teachers get unsurpassed teaching experience.

Agashe Central I.T.I has surmounted learning challenges of students by introducing learning tools that help in the expansion of knowledge, build core skills and unleash the student's true potential. We provide the option to learn from home for a range of courses," says B. T. Agashe, Renowned Writer of 150 Technical Books, Publisher and Academician.

"Offering scholarships to the students is a norm preceded by Agashe Central I.T.I for education to reach every part of the country"

Offering one year course in Computer Operator Programming Assistant and Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant and two years course in Electrician and Fitter, the training institute has sublimed learning paradigm. "Now-a-days technology is changing very rapidly, but the course curriculum is not adopting such a rapid change. Moreover, it is not possible to replace old machinery and equipment with the latest one due to overhead costing. So, ITI is unable to fulfill the need of the latest industries globally. To overcome this problem ITI and industries must tie-up," says B. T. Agashe.
