The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced minor changes in the syllabus of a few subjects for classes 11 and 12. As per the official notification, changes have been made in the following WBCHSE subjects: English B, English A, Alternative English, Bengali A, Hindi A, Hindi B, History, Political Science, Accountancy, Costing & Taxation, Business Studies, Education, Science of Well-being, Statistics, Philosophy, Environmental Studies, Economics, Geography, Biological Science.

However, the changes will be implemented from next year, and will be reflected in the fourth edition of the syllabus book, WBCHSE President Dr (Prof) Chiranjib Bhattacharjee stated in the official notice. The changes will also reflect in the model question papers that will be released next year.
