The Uttar Pradesh government is getting ready to roll out a new education policy. Under the new education policy, the government will soon change school schedules. The government will reduce the number of school hours studied under a new Education Policy. In schools, there will now be only 29 hours of instruction per week. Monday through Friday, classes will be held from 5 to 5.30 p.m., while the second Saturday of each month will be held from 2 to 2.30 p.m. In addition, two Saturdays will be designated as school holidays.
Similarly, the maximum time limit for general subject classes will be reduced from 45 to 35 minutes, while major subject classes will be conducted for 50 minutes.
In order to implement the new education policy, the Uttar Pradesh government has directed the Education Department to develop new rules for school studies based on the New Education Policy's National Curriculum Framework.
Following the implementation of the new rules, the class will last 35 minutes. The length of major subject classes, such as maths, Hindi, English, and science, will be set at 40 to 50 minutes. Schools have been asked to hold classes for a total of 29 hours per week under the New Education Policy.
