UP Board Deploys AI Monitoring Security for Upcoming Examinations

The UP Board is implementing significant measures to ensure the 2025 High School and Intermediate examinations are conducted fairly and without cheating. The steps being taken include:

Enhanced Security with AI: The security of question papers in the strong rooms at examination centers will be bolstered through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This will ensure better monitoring and prevent any breaches.

Revised Examination Centers: The UP Board has decided to reduce the number of unaided schools serving as examination centers. For 2025, 1,015 fewer unaided schools will be used compared to 2024. Instead, there will be an increase in the number of government and aided schools, which are considered more reliable for conducting exams. The total number of examination centers has been set at 7,657, with 940 government schools and 3,512 aided educational institutions, marking a significant increase from last year. 3,205 unaided schools will still serve as centers, but this is a reduction from 4,220 in 2024.

Student Registration and Numbers: A total of 54,38,597 students have registered for the 2025 board exams, comprising 27,40,151 high school students and 26,98,446 intermediate students. This is slightly fewer than the 55,25,308 students who registered for the 2024 exams.

These changes aim to improve surveillance and control during the exams, making it easier to ensure fairness and prevent cheating. The AI-driven enhancements for question paper security and the strategic selection of more controlled examination centers are part of the UP Board's efforts to maintain the integrity of the examination process.
