Recently, more and more Indian students have been choosing to pursue their education abroad.This is mainly due to the chance to receive a high-quality education, as well as exposure to global opportunities, all while immersing themselves in a foreign culture and improving their career prospects. The OTC in India was established in partnership with Garodia International College (GIC), which is a part of the Garodia Education Group, located in Mumbai. The OTC offers local learners the opportunity to enroll in SIM's Diploma in Management Studies programme.

SIM GE has partnered with the Jagannath Institute of Management School (JIMS) in Delhi as one of the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The partnership opens up opportunities for students to exchange with SIM and transfer academic credits from modules completed at SIM GE to meet their local education programme requirements.
