RBI Organises 3rd Zonal Level of All-India Financial Literacy Quiz

On August 28, the Reserve Bank of India organized the third zonal level round of an All-India Quiz on Financial Literacy in the national capital in an effort to improve financial literacy, particularly among school pupils.

In this round, state winners from Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh battled against each other.

Students from government schools in classes VIII, IX, and X were invited to participate in the quiz, which began at the block level and progressed to the district and state levels in order to develop interest in the topic of financial literacy and awareness.

At the block level, about 10,264 pupils from 5,132 schools across the zone's states and UTs participated.

The following schools competed at the zonal level in Delhi: ASOSE, Sector 10, Dwarka, Delhi, AUGIC, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, Government Higher Secondary School, Patushai, Sogam, Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, Government Higher Secondary School, Sumoor, Leh, Ladakh, and Government Inter College, Fursatganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.

Aman Gupta and Utkarsh Sudhakar of ASOSE in Sector 10, Dwarka, Delhi, were recognized by RBI executive director Deepak Kumar and other dignitaries in attendance.

The winners will compete in a national competition hosted by RBI later this year.
