Over 36 Percent Candidates Of 1st Merit List Opt For Upgrade At DU UG Admission 2022

The University of Delhi has released a list of vacant seats for Round 2, wherein all the colleges of the varsity have mentioned their number of seats left for the particular programme. Along with that, it has been noticed by the authorities that more than 36 percent of 59,100 applicants have opted for the option for an upgrade. As per Delhi University, 21,312 applicants have opted for an upgrade which includes a higher 'programme +college combination' preference. This upgraded facility will be there for students till October 27, 2022.

Applicants who have been allocated their first preference of course and college are not eligible to participate in this upgraded facility. This time, over 6500 applicants have been allocated with the first preference of course and college.

This year, admissions will be done on the basis of a first-time CUET conducted for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The round 1 admission process for undergraduate courses ended on October 25, 2022.
