Odisha Govt to Launch Early Admissions for Higher Education Courses 2025-26
The decision to initiate the admission process for postgraduate and two-year B. ED, M.ED and B.Hd Courses for the academic year 2025-26 has been made by the Odisha government.Furthermore, the starting of the admission process for undergraduate courses early has also been approved by the state government. The future of the students and broader interests were taken into consideration when the state government’s higher education agency made this choice.

For admission to programmes, the common application form (CAF) filling process will begin from April 16, 2025 for applicants, according to a release issued by the Higher education department.
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will be the basis for the admission process for the program which is undergraduate courses for the academic year 2025-26. According to this policy, various course combinations will be able to be chosen by students while the common Application Form (CAF) is being filled out through the SAMS platform. The options include single Major with Two Minors, Double Majors, and Three Minors.
The undergraduate training program for the 2025-2026 academic years will begin by July 10, 2025. Students will ultimately profit from this choice since it will allow for the prompt start of classes, exams, and result announcements.
