NSDC and UpGrad to Offer Skill Development Courses

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and upGrad have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide quality higher education and skill development programs to the youth of India with the aim of raising the skill level of the country, according to an official release.

This partnership is poised to change the world of education by promoting skill development. It also aims to expand educational opportunities to a greater number of people outside the metropolitan and regional areas, encouraging them to pursue international study programs and ultimately position India as a hub for talent on the global stage, the release said.

"We at NSDC are introducing initiatives that will help our youth become innovators of the new era. Today, we are well positioned to take advantage of the opportunities offered by technology and can respond to it by focusing on intensive expertise and digital learning. That is why this program is designed to develop the skills of our learners through the upGrad experience," said Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC, MD, and NSDC International according to financialexpress.

Under this MoU, NSDC claims that its students will get exclusive access to upGrad's comprehensive career development services, including valuable internship opportunities both in India and abroad, significantly enhancing their career prospects. According to the release, this collaboration marks a watershed in the Indian education sector and promises a brighter future for students and professionals.
