NMMC Social Service to Provide Scholarships for EWS Students

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation's (NMMC) social service wing has invited applications from people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to assist them with annual scholarships for educational needs ranging from grade one to postgraduate, including technical-professional education.

The Scholarship It has been classified into different classes and beneficiaries from six different categories. The application deadline has been set for February 28.

“This is part of our social responsibility to help out poor and needy children deprived of the basic right to education. We offer them monetary assistance so that they can pursue the education of their choice. We expect more and more people to come forward to explore the benefits. We appeal to the residents to apply for scholarships before the cut-off date of February 28,” said NMMC commissioner Rajesh Narvekar.

The application forms are available at all eight ward offices as well as the NMMC social service office in Belapur, and must be submitted to all ward offices, civic-run libraries, the social services department, and civic headquarters by the deadline.
