Lakshadweep Administration to Implement CBSE English Curriculum
The Lakshadweep administration has announced a major change in the education system by converting all schools under the Ministry of Education in the Union Territory from Malayalam to CBSE English.
The General Director of Education of the Union Territory issued an order in this regard on December 12.
In order to raise the educational standards and adapt to the dynamic educational environment, the Ministry of Education of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep has decided to convert the SCERT Kerala Malayalam language classes to CBSE English, said the order.
He said that from the academic year 2024-25, all schools in the department will enroll students in CBSE English medium from grade one onwards.
