JEE Mains from July 18-23, NEET on July 26, says HRD Minister

Today, the Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced to further postpone the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. After rescheduling, the JEE (Main) 2020 will commence from July 18-23, and NEET will take place on July 26 while JEE Advanced will be in August as per HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. The minister announced the halt ending for almost 25 lakh applicants who are ready to face the battle. Earlier, the Central Government announced postpone of the exams in March. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had previously scheduled the dates of JEE Main 2020 on April 5, 7, 8 and 11 till the last week of May which have now been moved to July due to coronavirus impact.

The dates for CBSE pending board exams will also be announced at the earliest as said by the Honorable Minister.

The schools and universities have not being opened since the outbreak of coronavirus. The Union government has ensured taking all the measures to contain the effects of coronavirus by locking down the country’s schools and universities.

With exam dates are hence coming fast, during this short period students can utilize the remaining time are listed below –

  • Students can practice and solve the question banks before the approaching dates. They can become masters of solving difficult questions.
  • As some students might are stuck with a few chapters, they can learn the important topics from those and solve the tricky questions in order to improve their probable scores.
  • There are conditions when students face problems with specific topics. They don’t feel confident about those. Students can revise those topics thoroughly to attain perfection and get more confident.
  • It is also important to maintain a good physical health. Therefore, the students need to maintain good hygiene practice, eat properly and exercise regularly to not fall sick.
