India Post Recruitment 2023: India Post has opened the online application process for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak candidates. Candidates can check their eligibility here and apply for the available positions at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Registrations for India Post will be open from May 22 to June 11, 2023. The application correction window, on the other hand, will open on June 12 and close on June 14, 2023. India Post hopes to fill a total of 12828 Gramin Dak Sevak positions through this recruitment drive.

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 40 on June 11, 2023. Age relaxation, however, is available to candidates from the reserved categories.
Qualifications in Education

Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with Mathematics and English (studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognised Board of School Education in India by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.

The applicant must have studied the local language, i.e. (Name of Local Language), at least through secondary school [as a compulsory or elective subject].

How to apply for India Post GDS Recruitment 2023?

Step 1. Visit the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
Step 2. On the homepage, register yourself and generate the login details
Step 3. Login using the same credentials and fill out the application form
Step 4. Upload the required documents and pay the application form
Step 5. Download and take a printout of the same for future reference

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a system-generated merit list. The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals.

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. However, all female applicants, SC /ST applicants, PwD applicants and Transwomen applicants are exempted from fee payment.
