The Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IIT-Gandhinagar) is presently taking applications for its 2023 Early-Career Fellowship (IITGN-ECF), which is meant to engage young PhD candidates in collaborative research opportunities. This scholarship offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for recent PhD graduates to collaborate on research projects with IIT Gandhinagar professors, making major contributions to their respective disciplines. The application date for this fellowship is December 15, 2023.

Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of $100,000, which includes $100,000 for living expenses and an additional $10,000 for housing (HRA) if they do not live on campus. Aside from the stipend, fellows can apply for a professional development award of up to 2 lakh every year, which can be used for international travel to conferences, workshops, training programs, and other events. Those relocating from abroad can request travel compensation for themselves, their spouse, and any dependents, as well as shipping charges for household goods, up to a maximum of $1,000,000. It should be noted that compensation is contingent on the submission of relevant travel-related invoices. Air travel is limited to economy class, and reimbursement is subject on the fellow's commitment to a minimum of six months with IIT-Gandhinagar, according to ndtv.
