IISER 2025 Registration Postponed to March 10: Check New Dates
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has postponed its registration process to March 10. The previous date for registering was March 5, 2025. The last date for submitting application is April 15, 2025. And the correction window will open from April 21 to 22, 2025. Through IISER Aptitude Test students will be offered admission in BS-MS dual degree program and four-year BS degree provided by the institute.
To apply, the interested candidates can visit the official website at iiseradmission.in. The admit cards will be released on May 15, 2025. The examination will be conducted in Computer based-test on May 25, 2025 at 9 AM in various centres across the country. The answer key will be released on the same day after completion of the exam.
The IISER IAT will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern. It will consist of 60 questions, 15 questions each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. The exam will be conducted for the duration of 180 minutes (3 hours). Each correct answer will carry 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Eligibility Criteria for IISER IAT 2025:
- SC, ST AND PwD candidates must have minimum 55% marks in class 12th or equivalent exam in 2023, 2024 or 2025 with science stream from any board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE).
- General Category (GEN) and Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) candidates must have 60 % marks in marks in class 12th or equivalent exam in 2023, 2024 or 2025 with science stream from any board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE).
