The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) has announced the launch of a new Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme. The new EMBA programme at IIM Udaipur is intended solely for professionals seeking continuous career advancement.

The two-year online programme, which begins on May 18, 2024, combines flexibility with academic excellence, with two one-week on-campus modules to foster networking and interaction.

IIM-U will manage and deliver the programme directly, with a high-touch approach that includes live sessions, interactive learning experiences, and exclusive C-suite interactions, providing participants with valuable insights from industry leaders.

According to an IIM Udaipur statement, this programme will provide an ideation platform to encourage participants to discuss business ideas that could lead to new business ventures supported by the IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre.

The curriculum is a comprehensive 1,250 contact-hour programme that includes business foundations, functional foundations, and a managerial toolkit, as well as a variety of electives.

This is the first IIM EMBA programme that allows for multiple entry points and staged completion. Participants will benefit from credit-based waivers, which will recognise their prior academic accomplishments. Students who complete the programme will receive a Master of Business Administration from IIM Udaipur. They will also be granted the status of IIM Udaipur alumni.
