IIM Sambalpur Hosts Kerala Delegation for Yuva Sangam Phase-III

IIM Sambalpur, one of India's premier management institutes, hosted a delegation of 50 Kerala students for Yuva Sangam Phase III, an initiative of the Union Ministry of Education (MoE) under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat programme.

The Yuva Sangam initiative aims to strengthen the bond between the people, especially the youth of Northeast India and other states by organizing discovery tours for the youth, mostly college students and other youth, both on and off campus. The initiative aims to promote cultural exchange and youth empowerment across the country. Students from NIT Calicut and other prominent Kerala colleges like University of Calicut and Cochin University of Science and Technology participated in the cultural exchange.

He said IIM Sambalpur is pleased to welcome delegates from Kerala, a state that shares significant similarities with Odisha in terms of natural beauty and culture. Both states, Odisha and Kerala, have rich mineral resources and a vibrant art scene that combines tradition with innovation.

And through Yuva Sangam, we offer participants multi-dimensional activity in five broad areas: Prayatan - Tourism, Parampara - Art and Culture, Pragati - Infrastructure Development, Prodyogik - Industrial Development, Paraspar Sampark - Interaction with Eminent Artists and Intellectuals. The initiative also enriches the participants with the personal experience of living in a completely different geographical and cultural situation.
