GITAM partners with UNCW and Surrey for International consulting program

GITAM Deemed to be the University School of Business has partnered with the University of Surrey, UK, and the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), USA, to introduce the International Consulting Immersion Programme (ICIP).

 A senior delegation from UNCW engaged in talks with GITAM faculty members. The conversation focused on essential topics such as student immersion, joint degree programs, faculty exchange, and student exchange.

"The ICIP is designed to provide students with hands-on consulting experience over a nine-month period, where diverse teams will address real-world industry challenges presented by corporate partners," says GMIT statement.

UNCW Chancellor Aswani K. Volety stated, “The University is profoundly grateful for this historic gift from two deeply dedicated Seahawks. These dear friends believe in the power of higher education to transform lives, improve communities, and create positive change in the world. Their gift commitment will position UNCW to expand programs, enhance our facilities, and provide even greater opportunities for our students for generations to come.”

$20 million is allocated for the enhancement of UNCW’s initiatives over five years in clinical services, medical education, and healthcare accessibility. It will assist multiple research projects and programs for healthcare professionals.
